Our Community

Crestone Healing Arts Center is nestled against the western slope of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at an altitude of 8,200 feet with spectacular views of 14,000 ft. high peaks.

Nearby hiking trails, year round creeks, hot springs, winter and summer recreation areas are easily to accessed from our center.

We are a unique conglomerate of artists, musicians, intellectuals, teachers, healers, peace activists, and environmentalists, all of us seeking our own unique spiritual expression through conscious community.

A Special Place

Centuries of Native American prayer and ceremony have anchored a palpable sense of peace within this pavilion of nature’s beauty. Crestone is located in the Foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains overlooking the San Luis Valley, one of the largest mountain valleys in North America. Crestone and the adjoining Baca Grande community have grown to be a powerful gathering place for a wide variety of spiritual groups. Individuals dedicated to self-healing, personal growth through their unique individual expression thrive here.

Crestone is a place of prophecy. An abundance of spiritual teachers from respected traditional lineages have come to Crestone to share their sacred knowledge. Over the years, Crestone Healing Arts Center has been a consistent venue for a number of these wisdom keepers.
